ANRS Afar Agricultural Research Center

The ANRS Afar Agricultural Research Center Child Friendly Construction project was undertaken in Semera to develop a safe and welcoming facility that supports child welfare and family-friendly services within the research center environment. The project aimed to create a functional space designed to meet the needs of children while promoting comfort, safety, and accessibility.

The scope of work included site preparation, foundation works, structural construction, masonry works, architectural finishing, and installation of essential utility systems such as electrical, water supply, sanitation, and drainage infrastructure. Special consideration was given to child-friendly design standards, ensuring the facility provides a secure, accessible, and comfortable environment.

Executed with a strong focus on quality, safety, and long-term sustainability, the project was successfully completed in accordance with engineering and construction standards. The completed facility contributes significantly to improving social support services and creating a more inclusive and family-friendly environment at the ANRS Afar Agricultural Research Center in Semera.
