Jimma Storm Water Drainage work

The Jimma Storm Water Drainage Work project was undertaken to address urban flooding challenges and improve storm water management within Jimma City. The project aimed to develop an efficient drainage system capable of safely collecting, channeling, and discharging storm water to reduce flood risks and protect public infrastructure.

The scope of work included excavation, construction of drainage channels, culverts, reinforced concrete structures, and associated civil works required to establish a reliable storm water drainage network. The project was designed to improve water flow management during heavy rainfall while minimizing erosion, waterlogging, and damage to roads and nearby properties. the project was successfully completed in accordance with engineering standards and quality requirements. The completed drainage system significantly improves urban resilience, public safety, and long-term infrastructure sustainability in Jimma City.
